Bologna Airport: Enac Approves Updates To The 2023-2026 Program

Aeroporto Guglielmo Marconi di Bologna S.p.A. announces that it has received approval from the National Civil Aviation Authority (ENAC) for its justified proposal to update the attachments to the 2023-2026 Program Agreement, as stipulated in Article 6, Paragraph 3 of the Agreement signed in October 2023. This update reflects the most recent traffic forecasts, which remain largely in line with previous projections, taking into account the coordination of the airport starting from the Winter Season 2024-25 and the updated Investment Plan with new priorities, phases, and some new investments. These changes increase the total value of investments for the four-year period from approximately 140 million euros to about 200 million euros.

The proposal is considered to best meet the needs of the airport and its users. The restructured and authorized Investment Plan, with a horizon until 2026, is accompanied by a financial-economic plan that is fully sustainable. It will be entirely financed by AdB through its own funds and through bank financing and loans from the European Investment Bank (EIB).
