Schneider Electric and Clipsal by Schneider Electric will host a mobile training initiative, On the Go Learning Centre, aimed at helping electricians keep pace with rapid changes in the energy landscape across 80 metro and regional locations.

Launching in May, the national roadshow will travel to metro and regional locations, offering a flexible, drop-in format designed to fit around busy work schedules while improving access to training.

The latest iteration of the mobile centre has been shaped by feedback from customers and partners, with a stronger focus on practical skills and real-world applications. Inside, attendees can explore technologies across electrification, automation and digital solutions, including EV charging, digital switchboards, smart home systems and industrial equipment.

“The pace of change across the electrical industry is accelerating, driven by electrification, digitisation and new energy demands. For contractors and electricians, staying current is essential to staying competitive,” Clipsal by Schneider Electric chief executive and vice president Chris Kerr says.

“The On the Go Learning Centre makes that access to knowledge practical and immediate. We’re bringing the latest technologies, tools and expertise directly to where people work, so they can build skills, improve efficiency and deliver better outcomes for their customers.”

The mobile format is designed to ensure both metropolitan and regional electricians have access to the same level of training and support. For regional areas, the roadshow provides exposure to technologies and expertise that are often limited to major cities, while metro participants benefit from a convenient way to upskill without disrupting day-to-day operations.

Across all stops, the focus remains on hands-on learning and direct engagement with technical specialists, helping electricians better understand how new technologies can be applied across residential, commercial and industrial projects.
