— Behler-Young is marking its 100th anniversary, celebrating a century in business as a family-owned HVAC distribution company serving contractors across the region.

Founded in 1926, the company has remained under family ownership for four generations. According to Behler-Young, its longevity reflects a continued focus on contractor relationships, technical expertise, and service as the HVAC industry has evolved.

“For 100 years, Behler-Young has remained at the forefront of HVAC distribution by staying true to the vision established by its founders while continuously adapting to meet the needs of contractors, builders, and commercial clients,” the company stated.

Doug Young, chairman and CEO of Behler-Young, said the milestone represents the contributions of employees and customers over several generations. “Reaching this 100-year milestone is an incredible honor and a reflection of the hard work and loyalty of everyone who has been part of our journey,” Young said. “Our success has always been driven by our people.”

The company currently operates 20 branch locations and plans to commemorate its 100th anniversary with customer events throughout the year. Behler-Young will also host its third HVAC Expo on September 23 in Novi, Michigan.
