Deep Yellow has invested approximately N$725 million to advance its flagship Tumas uranium project during the 12 months ending 30 June 2026, according to the company’s latest quarterly cash flow report.

The investment reflects the company’s strong commitment to progressing the Tumas project, which is located in Namibia, with the reported spending based on Australian dollar figures converted to Namibian dollars.

Over the year, Deep Yellow spent around A$48.231 million (about N$570 million) on project development activities, including engineering, project execution, and preparatory work essential for construction and production readiness. Additionally, exploration and evaluation efforts, such as drilling, geological studies, and resource assessments, accounted for A$13.150 million (approximately N$155 million).

Combined, these expenditures totalled A$61.381 million (roughly N$725 million) dedicated to advancing the Tumas uranium project.

Beyond project-specific costs, Deep Yellow reported staff expenses of A$7.413 million (about N$88 million) and administration and corporate costs of A$4.535 million (approximately N$54 million) during the same period. The company also invested A$627,000 (around N$7.4 million) in evaluating potential project acquisitions.

Expenditure on property, plant, and equipment reached A$545,000 (about N$6.4 million), while finance costs linked to lease obligations were A$116,000 (around N$1.4 million).

In the June 2026 quarter alone, Deep Yellow allocated A$11.151 million (approximately N$132 million) to project development and A$2.760 million (about N$33 million) to exploration and evaluation. Staff costs for the quarter were A$1.775 million (roughly N$21 million), and administration and corporate expenses totalled A$1.649 million (around N$20 million).

Despite the active investment program, the company closed the quarter with a strong cash position of A$159.976 million (approximately N$1.9 billion) and reported no loan facilities or credit standby arrangements as of 30 June 2026.

Deep Yellow estimates its current funding will sustain operating activities and exploration for 12 more quarters at the present expenditure rate, underscoring its financial stability and ongoing commitment to developing the Tumas uranium project.

This sustained investment and solid financial footing position Deep Yellow well to continue progressing towards construction and production milestones at Tumas.
