(P&GJ) — OPAL Fuels Inc. has entered joint venture partnerships to develop four new landfill renewable natural gas (RNG) production projects. The company’s 50% stake in the projects represents 1.5 million MMBtu of annual design capacity.

OPAL is conducting development and engineering work at the sites and expects construction to begin in 2025. Once operational, the facilities are projected to produce about 20 million gasoline gallon equivalents (GGE) per year.
