Hamad International Airport (DOH) has officially unveiled its new Concourse E as part of its latest terminal expansion programme.
According to the gateway, the new addition is “designed to further elevate the passenger journey”.
Concourse E, it says, “prioritises boarding efficiency, reduces reliance on remote gates and buses and incorporates accessibility and sustainability focused design”.
The expansion adds 51,000 square metres of space to the airport, featuring eight new contact gates representing a 20% overall addition that enable faster boarding and improved operational efficiency.
Further development with Concourse D expansion to be announced in a few weeks.
The Qatari hub notes that Concourse E features:
