Nantucket Memorial Airport Commission retained ADK Consulting and Executive Search to recruit their new Airport Manager. After a nationwide search, Warren Smith has been named Airport Manager for the Nantucket Memorial Airport (ACK). In this position, Mr. Smith will oversee terminal operations, airfield activities, business and service operations of the airport-owned fixed base operation (FBO) and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies. He began his new role on March 3, 2025.

Previously, Mr. Smith worked at Everett Paine Field and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport.
âI am extremely thrilled to join the airport and team in Nantucket, Massachusetts, and to lead the airport with its future endeavors,â said Mr. Smith. âI am excited for the prospects of advancing Nantucketâs place in the Northeast and to enhance the operations that are currently in place. While it is a big change in scenery for me and my family, coming from Grand Canyon National Park Airport in Arizona to island culture and the Northeast climate, I am up for the challenge. I have seen the growth that has taken place at Nantucket throughout the past few decades and want to include my ideas and knowledge to continue this growth in helping the airport amplify its sustainability and profitability. Iâm excited for what the future holds at ACK and am ready for the adventure!â
Mr. Smith received a bachelorâs degree in aviation administration from Utah Valley University and went on to earn a masterâs degree in business administration from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
