As a not-for-profit charitable organisation, the NYMR relies heavily on the dedication of its staff, volunteers and the generosity of its members to maintain the scenic line which runs through the heart of the stunning North York Moors National Park. Laura Strangeway, CEO at NYMR, said: “As a charity, our ability to preserve and operate depends on the continued support of our members. This new membership structure gives supporters even more ways to get involved to help us preserve our railway heritage for generations to come.”

Memberships can be purchased online, and as a UK taxpayer, the NYMR can claim the tax back on membership fees, making the support go even further.
