$7.3M Road Work Contract Awarded In The Nt

The Federal and Northern Territory governments have awarded a contract to upgrade a four-way intersection on the Stuart Highway north of Tennant Creek, as part of their continued investment into the region.

The $7.3 million contract has been awarded to local construction company DAC Enterprises.

The project will upgrade the intersection of Warrego and Kaczinsky roads and the Stuart Highway by constructing two staggered T-intersections.

These road works specifically include:

The works will bolster motorist safety at the intersection, while also future-proofing it for heavy vehicle activity in the Barkly region.
