AFC Bournemouth confirmed last week that its formal submission of planning application for a redeveloped, purpose-built stadium designed to support the club’s long-term growth, deliver an enhanced matchday experience, and bring significant community benefits to the local area.

Following the approval of the stadium enabling works, the proposed redevelopment represents a major milestone in the club’s ongoing commitment to building a sustainable future on and off the pitch.

Designed with modern facilities, improved accessibility, and expanded capacity, the project aims to create a vibrant, long-term home for supporters while contributing to the wider regeneration of the surrounding area.

The planning application includes license for a new 7,000 seater South Stand, the infill of all four stadium corners to generate additional capacity, the relocation of existing floodlights, plus the optimisation of our car park and cycling layout.

In addition, there will be a new ticket office, fan zone and outside broadcasting compound, all of which will enhance the matchday experience for those on site.

AFC Bournemouth has engaged with supporters, local residents, and stakeholders throughout the development process.
