Developed with a focus on sustainability and high efficiency, İÇDAŞ-29, with a carrying capacity of 12,500 DWT and a length of 134 meters, aims to strengthen the group’s operational power in maritime trade. With a total capacity of 800 containers, the vessel is designed to offer high flexibility in transporting various types of strategic cargo thanks to its “heavy cargo” notation.

Built with a gross tonnage under 10,000 to optimize operating costs, the ship emphasizes fuel efficiency with a service speed of 13 knots. The project, developed with eco-friendly features and a low initial investment cost, is planned to be completed including the design process within approximately 1.5 years and brought into full service.

İÇDAŞ officials, emphasizing their commitment to continued investments in the maritime sector, highlighted that the new vessel will showcase an environmentally friendly profile with low fuel consumption and provide cost advantages in logistics operations by adapting to variable cargo types.
