JSW Infrastructure Limited has finalized the acquisition of a slurry pipeline business from JSW Utkal Steel Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of JSW Steel Limited, for ₹1,617 crore. The company executed a Business Transfer Agreement on March 25, 2025, to acquire the pipeline, which facilitates the transportation of iron ore from Nuagaon mines to Jagatsinghpur in Odisha.

As part of the deal, JSW Infrastructure has also entered into a 20-year take-or-pay agreement with JSW Steel Limited, ensuring a long-term revenue stream through the transportation of iron ore slurry.

The acquisition received shareholders’ approval through a postal ballot on January 26, 2025, following the company’s initial disclosure to stock exchanges on July 19, 2024. This strategic move strengthens JSW Infrastructure’s logistics and infrastructure portfolio, enhancing its role in India’s industrial supply chain.
