Salem Fabrication Technologies Group (SFTG) has promoted Scott Poland to vice president of technical operations at its HHH Equipment Resources division. Poland brings more than 12 years of glass industry experience, including a decade with HHH and SFTG supporting customers in complex glass processing, tempering and automation environments.

Poland joined SFTG in 2015 as a field service technician and advanced through senior lead field service technician and director of technical operations, leading service strategy, technical support and operational improvements across the company. In his new role, he oversees technical operations, field service strategy and continuous improvement initiatives as a member of the executive team.

“Scott’s progression from the field to executive leadership reflects his technical expertise and his understanding of customer needs,” says Dan Reinhart, SFTG CEO. “His leadership keeps our technical operations grounded in real-world application while evolving with automation and advanced manufacturing demands.”

SFTG officials say Poland plays a key role in advancing HHH’s technical team initiatives, supporting integrated fabrication and automation solutions that improve throughput, safety and long-term performance for glass fabricators across North America.

Before joining Salem, Poland held technical roles with Sigco and Glaston.
