Neoen has initiated construction of three new solar farms in France with a combined capacity of 230 MWp, all scheduled to become operational by 2028. The projects include the Le Couret agrisolar project with a capacity of 147 MWp in the Haute-Vienne department, along with the Isle-sur-Marne solar farm of 48 MWp and the Matignicourt floating solar farm of 35 MWp both located in the La Marne department.

Construction of the solar farms and two 225 kV substations connecting to the French electricity transmission system has been assigned to Equans Solar & Storage. Neoen will retain ownership and long-term operation of the projects, while Equans Solar & Storage will manage maintenance for a period of 20 years. The Le Couret agrisolar project spans around 170 hectares, developed in coordination with local authorities in Lussac-les-Eglises and Saint-Martin-le-Mault, with involvement from the local chamber of agriculture.

Neoen is also undertaking upgrades and construction of new agricultural buildings as part of the project. The electricity generated will be supplied under a 25-year power purchase agreement signed in June 2024 with SNCF Energie. Additionally, the Matignicourt and Isle-sur-Marne solar farms are being developed on land managed by the federation of municipalities of Perthois-Bocage and Der in La Marne. The projects were awarded in 2024 under a call for tenders issued by the French energy regulation commission.
