Pace Digitek Secures Contract For 250 Mw/500 Mwh Bess In Tamil Nadu

Pace Digitek Limited has secured a contract worth Rs 7,099.19 million from NLC India Renewables Limited for a 250 MW/500 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) in Tamil Nadu. The project will be developed across the Ottapidaram, Annupankulam, and Kayathar substations in the state.

According to specifications of the contract, the scope of work covers the design and engineering of the BESS infrastructure, along with the supply of equipment and materials, excluding power transformers. It also includes the manufacturing, forwarding, unloading, and storage of equipment at the project sites. Furthermore, the scope involves the erection, testing, and commissioning of the systems on a turnkey basis, as well as comprehensive operation and maintenance services up to the delivery point for a period of 12 years from the commercial operation date.

In May 2026, Pace Digitek Limited secured contracts worth Rs 7,020 million from Damodar Valley Corporation for a 250 MW/500 MWh BESS project at Maithon, Jharkhand.
