Rays Power Infra Limited has won a 300 MW renewable energy project valued at Rs 19.12 billion. Bagged from a state-owned entity, the project will be implemented under the company’s co-development business model.
The scope of the project encompasses land acquisition and interstate transmission system (ISTS) connectivity. It also covers complete engineering, procurement, and construction of the project. Furthermore, the project will be set up at one of Rays Power’s upcoming renewable energy parks in Karnataka and is expected to be commissioned within the next three years.
Earlier this month, Rays Power Infra emerged as one of the winners of SECI’s 1,200 MW ISTS-connected solar power project with 600 MW/3,600 MWh energy storage system (Tranche-XXI) auction, securing capacity of 300 MW at a tariff of Rs 3.13 per kWh.
