Power PlantTHDC India Limited, a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has declared the commercial operation of its 11 MWac floating solar power plant on the raw water reservoir of the Khurja super thermal power project in Uttar Pradesh.
Furthermore, with this commissioning, THDC’s total installed and commercial power generation capacity has increased to 3,918 MW. The total installed capacity of the NTPC Group has reached 90,965 MW, while its commercial capacity now stands at 89,885 MW.
Earlier, in April 2026, THDC India Limited declared the fourth unit of the Tehri pumped storage project in Uttarakhand commercially operational. The Tehri PSP has a total planned capacity of 1,000 MW, comprising four units of 250 MW each.
