Power PlantWaaree Renewable Technologies Limited (WRTL) has successfully completed the acquisition of a 55% equity stake in Associated Power Structures Private Limited (APSPL), formerly known as Associated Power Structures Limited. With the completion of the transaction, APSPL has officially become a subsidiary of WRTL.
The company informed that this acquisition follows a series of earlier announcements made on January 26, May 7, and June 15, 2026. The transaction was carried out through a combination of primary and secondary acquisitions. Under the primary acquisition, new shares were allotted to WRTL, while the secondary acquisition involved the transfer of existing shares. Together, these transactions enabled the company to secure a controlling stake of 55% in APSPL.
WRTL disclosed the completion of the acquisition to both BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) in accordance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. According to the company’s regulatory filing, it received formal confirmation regarding the completion of the acquisition on June 18, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. IST.
The official communication was subsequently submitted to the stock exchanges by Company Secretary Heema Shah from Mumbai. The filing requested both exchanges to take the information on record and make it available to investors and other market participants.
The acquisition represents a strategic step for Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited as it continues to expand its business operations and strengthen its market presence. WRTL, which operates as a subsidiary of Waaree Energies Limited, is expected to benefit from the integration of APSPL into its corporate structure.
The company also stated that detailed information regarding the transaction and related disclosures will be available on its official website for shareholders, investors, and the general public. The move is seen as part of WRTL’s broader growth strategy aimed at enhancing its operational capabilities and expanding its portfolio within the renewable energy sector.
