Arcadis has announced the appointment of Peter Hogg as Country Director for the United Kingdom and Ireland. He succeeds Simon Bimpson, who will continue to serve as President of Arcadis Advanced Manufacturing. A 28-year veteran of the business, Peter brings unparalleled professional experience in the built environment, significant service in civil society, and a deep commitment to improving the quality of life for all to the new role.  Peter will continue to serve as London City Executive alongside his new responsibilities.

Peter has played pivotal roles in delivering some of London’s most significant infrastructure programmes, including the Jubilee Line Extension, St Pancras International Station, and Heathrow’s Terminal 5. His leadership has consistently driven successful outcomes for clients and enhanced the city’s global reputation. A Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Peter’s professional background encompasses building surveying and project management, complemented by a keen understanding of aligning built and natural assets to the vision and priorities of clients.

As London City Executive for the last nine years, Peter has led Arcadis’ market strategy, client engagement, and key business development activities across the city. He has also spearheaded Arcadis’ central and local government relations programme while growing the firm’s presence in economic development and investment organisations across the country. Frequently quoted by trade and national media, his expertise has helped Arcadis maintain its position at the forefront of shaping successful, sustainable cities.

Outside Arcadis, Peter is a non-executive member of the board of the Confederation of British Industry and has recently completed a term as a non-executive director of the Thames Estuary Growth Board.

Peter Hogg said, “I am honoured and delighted to have been given the opportunity to serve the business – and all Arcadians – as our UK & Ireland Country Director. I am grateful for the leadership of Simon Bimpson over the last four years, and excited for the opportunity to lead this team. Arcadis is uniquely positioned to help our clients shape vibrant, resilient places that improve lives. I look forward to working with our partners to deliver on this promise.”
