The contract relates to the engagement of a user fee collection agency at the Jawar Fee Plaza, located at km 37.100 on the Mathura–Devinagar Bypass. The mandate covers the stretch from design kilometre 0.000 to design kilometre 66.000 of National Highway-530B in Uttar Pradesh. The scope of work also includes the upkeep and maintenance of adjoining toilet blocks, along with replenishment of consumable items.
The total contract value stands at Rs 0.3201 billion and is to be executed over a period of one year. The company clarified that neither its promoters nor members of the promoter group have any interest in the awarding entity and that the transaction does not qualify as a related-party transaction under applicable regulations.
Based in Madhya Pradesh, Highway Infrastructure operates across tollway collection, EPC infrastructure projects and real estate development. The company has completed 27 tollway projects and currently operates four, supported by electronic toll collection and automatic number plate recognition technologies.
Its EPC arm has delivered more than 66 projects across roads, bridges and irrigation works under schemes such as PMAY and PMGSY. In real estate, the company is expanding in Indore with residential and integrated township developments. In FY25, toll collection accounted for over 77 per cent of revenue, followed by EPC and real estate activities. As of May 31, 2025, the company’s order book stood at Rs 6.66 billion.
For the twelve months ended March 31, 2025, Highway Infrastructure reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 0.224 billion on revenue of Rs 4.96 billion. Shares of the company declined 2 per cent to Rs 58.66 on the BSE.
