Populous Share Renderings Of $700M Beaver Stadium Renovation

Leading sports architecture firm Populous has released new interior renderings for Penn State’s highly anticipated $700 million Beaver Stadium renovation, offering a glimpse into the reimagined concourses and premium seating areas.

The extensive project, which has been in the works for over a year, is entering a major construction phase this offseason.

Set for completion ahead of the 2027 season, the renovation will transform the west side of the iconic 106,572-seat stadium. Demolition began immediately after the conclusion of Penn State’s football season, including the removal of the west-side press box and upper seating bowl. Temporary seating for nearly 8,000 fans will be installed for the 2025 season to accommodate ongoing construction.

Among the most notable upgrades is the addition of a new west-side tower, made possible by a $25 million donation from PAM Health and the Misitano family, who secured the naming rights. The tower will feature exclusive spaces such as the 35,000-square-foot Marzano Club and the 20,000-square-foot Schuyler Family Club, both designed for year-round event hosting.

Despite the increase in premium offerings, nearly 75% of seating on the west side will remain non-premium, ensuring accessibility for a broad range of fans.

Beyond the tower, the renovation will introduce several key enhancements, including:

A tri-venture construction team—Barton Malow, AECOM Hunt, and Alexander Construction—is leading the build, with Nations Group serving as a project consultant. Elevate is advising Penn State Athletics on ticketing, seating, and premium strategy, while Playfly Sports, the university’s multimedia rights partner, has contributed $5 million toward the west-side tower.

These transformative upgrades will position Beaver Stadium as a premier venue for college football, enhancing the experience for fans and visitors for years to come.

Team Chosen To Build New $1B Oklahoma City Thunder Arena

Team Chosen To Build New $1B Oklahoma City Thunder ArenaThe contractor behind Oklahoma city’s new convention center, Devon Tower and the state Capitol dome is teaming up with a Minneapolis contractor that built two of the country’s three newest NBA arenas to construct a new $1 billion arena that will be home to the Oklahoma City Thunder basketball team. The new partnership, Flintco-Mortenson, was hired Tuesday to build the new Paycom Center, which is set to open by June 2028 on the block that was last home to Prairie Surf Studios and for almost 50 years served as the city’s convention center. Flintco, founded in 1908, is headquartered in Tulsa and previously built Paycom Center, the city’s current arena. Mortenson Construction specializes in large arenas and stadiums and built two of the newest NBA arenas, Fiserv Forum (home of the Milwaukee Bucks) and Chase Center (home of the Golden State Warriors). Dave Kollmann, president at Flintco, was part of the team that built Paycom Center, which was a bargain for the city when a miscalculation of subcontractors’ bids resulted in a surprisingly low construction cost of $65 million when other arenas were costing more than twice that amount. The first arena was built bare bones and was almost put on hold when the city failed to attract an NHL expansion team. The new arena is being built as an NBA home and entertainment venue that is to meet or exceed the league’s specifications and requirements. “It is a testimony to Oklahoma City and the reinvestment that’s going to come to downtown,” Kollmann said. “It is full circle from us being involved in the first arena 25 years ago and then being involved with this and keeping Oklahoma City big league.”

Mammoet Lands Contract To Help Renovate Montreal’S Olympic Stadium
Stadia Magazine
Mammoet Lands Contract To Help Renovate Montreal’S Olympic StadiumHeavy lifting and transportation firm Mammoet has won the contract to support Groupe Construction Pomerleau-Canam (GCPC) with the renovation of the new roof for Montreal’s Olympic stadium. GCPC is a consortium of companies comprising Pomerleau and Canam Group. It was awarded the contract to replace the existing roof with a new fixed structure, which will have transparent glass to allow natural light to fill the stadium. Mammoet, with GCPC’s other partners, will provide mobile cranes to support with the demolition of the old roof, and will undertake a significant engineering project utilizing its most prestigious equipment to help lift and install the new canopy. Much of this operation will be managed through Mammoet’s Canada East subsidiary, which employs close to 500 heavy lifting and transport experts across Ontario and Quebec. In fact, significant numbers of its operational workforce and crane equipment fleet are currently on site, removing outgoing roof panels. The new roof will be built inside the stadium on temporary supports. Once complete, Mammoet will use its Mega Jack 5200 system to lift the structure 50 meters in the air, and into place. The Mega Jack is a large jacking system that uses beams loaded at ground level to lift some of the world’s heaviest loads. Six Mega Jack towers will be used to perform the lift. Besides the Mega Jack system, strand jacks will be used to stabilize the roof as it is raised. Mammoet has also designed special final adjustment devices to sit on the top of each lifting tower. Taking the form of miniature skidding tracks, these allow precision positioning of the roof once it is at the required height. The roof will stay raised on the jacking systems for a period of two months. This is to allow final installation work to happen, such as attaching with cables to the stadium’s famous 550 feet inclined tower (La Tour de Montréal). “We are thrilled that Mammoet can play a key role in the renovation of this iconic stadium,” said Justin Hope, project manager at Mammoet. “We lift heavy objects all the time, but making sure that our solution aligns with how the roof will be finally connected adds a unique dimension. This is why we came up with a custom engineering solution to perform the job”.

New Utas Stadium Upgrade Images Released Ahead Of July StartThe $130 million redevelopment of Launceston’s UTAS Stadium is progressing, with detailed plans released including new artists’ impressions, with construction expected to commence in July. Jointly funded through a 50-50 split between Tasmanian and Federal governments, the redevelopment of UTAS Stadium will include a new centre west stand incorporating function, corporate and media facilities, a new seating bowl in the lower section of western stand and a revitalised eastern stand. Plans advertised for public comment by Launceston City Council on Monday also revealed a new south-east entry plaza. If approved, the revamped stadium is expected to open its doors in early 2027. Launceston Mayor Matthew Garwood said, “This is an incredible opportunity for Launceston and Northern Tasmania and will ensure UTAS Stadium remains a premiere sporting facility for our community for future generations.” “The redevelopment aims to attract national sporting and entertainment events to Launceston, supporting the City of Launceston’s vision to make the city a premier business, retail and lifestyle hub.” Stadiums Tasmania CEO James Avery said, “It will result in a host of new events coming to UTAS Stadium in addition to securing the future of those community, sporting and entertainment events that have become a mainstay on the Launceston calendar.” The major redevelopment follows current matchday facility upgrades within the CUB Stand at UTAS Stadium, due to be completed ahead of Hawthorn’s first AFL home game of the 2025 season against the GWS Giants on March 29. The Hawthorn Football Club recently announced an extension with the Tasmanian Government to continue playing AFL games at the Launceston venue for a further two seasons. UTAS Stadium will host some home games for the new Tasmanian Devis Football Club who are due to enter the AFL competition for the 2028 season.

New Renderings Of Portland Mlb Stadium Revealed

New Renderings Of Portland Mlb Stadium RevealedWhile MLB has yet to announce where it will expand next, the Portland Diamond Project (PDP) is positioning the city as a prime candidate with a newly designed, MLB-ready stadium along the Willamette River. The latest stadium renderings, created by leading sports architecture firm Populous, were unveiled this week when PDP founder and CEO Craig Cheek met with a Portland government committee. If awarded a team, the group says construction could begin as soon as 2027. “We believe this is an iconic site,” Cheek said. “Among the current 30 MLB stadiums, there may not be a better backdrop.” The vision for the stadium extends beyond baseball, aiming to revitalize downtown with a surrounding district of restaurants, shops, public spaces, and residential developments. Zidell Yards, a 30.85-acre site in the South Waterfront, is one of the last large redevelopment opportunities in the city. Jay Zidell, whose family owns the property, supports the project, saying a ballpark would create a “vibrant district” for the community. Although Portland is a strong contender, it faces competition from cities like Austin, Charlotte, Montreal, Nashville, and Salt Lake City. With MLB expected to add two new teams in the next five years, Portland’s detailed stadium plan could give it an advantage when the league makes its decision.

Houston Texans Consider Relocation Due To Stadium Renovation
Stadia Magazine
Houston Texans Consider Relocation Due To Stadium RenovationThe Houston Texans are at a crossroads regarding the future of NRG Stadium, their home since 2002. With significant renovations needed, the organization is faced with the challenge of deciding between costly upgrades or the possibility of relocating to a new facility. To help navigate this crucial decision, the Texans have appointed Mike Tomon as their new president. Tomon, a seasoned executive with extensive experience in stadium development, previously worked with Legends, a company behind the state-of-the-art venues in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. His expertise will be instrumental in determining the franchise’s next steps. The team is currently negotiating a new lease for NRG Stadium. However, a recent assessment found the stadium to be in “average or below average condition” compared to similar venues, citing a long list of deferred upgrades. According to the Houston Chronicle, the cost of necessary renovations is estimated at $1.4 billion over the next 30 years. Additionally, if the Texans opt for premium enhancements, the price tag could rival that of constructing an entirely new stadium. Sources close to the organization have suggested that while the Texans are exploring the possibility of a new stadium, no formal plans have been proposed. The final decision will hinge on what makes the most financial sense for the franchise, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and Harris County, which owns and leases the stadium. One major challenge is the financial burden on Houston and Harris County taxpayers. Local leaders are still paying off debt from the stadium’s initial construction 25 years ago. Additionally, the Harris County-Houston Sports Authority is servicing $1 billion in bonds for NRG Stadium, Daikin Park, and the Toyota Center, with a projected payoff date of 2056. Given these financial constraints, funding a new stadium could prove difficult. As the Texans weigh their options, the future of professional football in Houston remains uncertain. Whether the team commits to renovating NRG Stadium or explores a new venue, the decision will have long-term implications for fans, stakeholders, and the city as a whole.

Since its opening in 2020, the 25,455-seat QLD Country Bank Stadium has hosted around 1.25 million fans across 86 major events and more than 700 community events.    Over the past five years, catering staff have served 150,715 cups of chips and 720,985 soft drinks to fans watching some of the biggest events Australia.  With even more major international events on the horizon - including the Rugby World Cup and Brisbane 2032 - the stadium is poised to play a pivotal role in showcasing the region to the world and injecting millions into the local economy.   Minister for Sport and Racing, and Minister for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tim Mander said the stadium had positioned Townsville as a major sports and events destination.  “There’s no doubt that this is one of the best regional venues in Australia,” Minister Mander said.  “North Queensland has been through a tough time, but the extension of the naming rights is not only a testament to the success of the venue but a great signal of confidence in the region.  “Queensland Country Bank Stadium has been instrumental in boosting Townsville’s economy and tourism, and the incredible response to the P!nk concerts last year is a prime example.   “From the Cowboys to State of Origin, the Matildas, international football, rugby union, and some of the biggest names in music, this venue continues to deliver world-class experiences.   Queensland Country Bank CEO Aaron Newman said the partnership with the stadium had been a huge success.   “Our partnership with Stadiums Queensland has exceeded all expectations, and we’ve been thrilled that with the support of the State Government, Queensland Country Bank Stadium has been highly successful in attracting major headline events which have made a significant social and economic contribution to the region,” said Mr Newman.  “There is no doubt that Queensland Country Bank Stadium has generated significant exposure for our brand that has contributed to our accelerated growth as a bank of choice for Queenslanders, but what we’re most proud of is the opportunities the stadium has created for regional Queensland.”  “Stadium Queensland’s ongoing commitment to providing a world-class venue for the benefit of the region aligns with our vision as a member-owned bank to support regional Queenslanders, and we’re delighted to continue to play a role in the growth of North Queensland.”   Queensland Country Bank Stadium General Manager Cameron Jones said he was excited to see what the next five years entailed.  “We’ve got a strong lineup this year with the Cowboys, Wallabies, Nitro Circus and the Rugby World Cup, and I expect us to go from strength to strength off the back of support for recent events,” Mr Jones said.

Italy Archaeological Excavations Resume On The Future As Roma Stadium Site

Italy Archaeological Excavations Resume On The Future As Roma Stadium Site20.02.2025 12:31 source: StadiumDB.com; author: Paulina Skóra Archaeological excavations will soon resume in Pietralata, a necessary step before presenting the final project for AS Roma's new stadium in this location. Advertisement According to Il Messaggero, the archaeological work will take approximately a month. Meanwhile, an agronomist, after analyzing the tree species and vegetation, concluded that the area may have degraded and ruled out the existence of a forest. The final step before the project’s approval will be the convening of the Services Conference, during which the environmental impact and urban planning aspects of the investment will be assessed. © AS Roma The Administrative Court of the Lazio Region (TAR) upheld a complaint from Mb Ricambi Auto against the decision of the Rome authorities, which prohibited it from continuing its commercial activities on the future site of AS Roma's stadium. This information, initially reported by Radio Roma Sound, was confirmed in the published court ruling. In its justification, TAR stated that Mb Ricambi Auto, operating at Via degli Aromi 50 with vehicle display, rental, and auto parts sales, contested the city’s decision to revoke its business permits. Rome justified this decision by citing the need to demolish illegal structures on one of the plots. Authorities emphasized that, according to regulations, commercial activities must be conducted in buildings that meet construction and urban planning standards, which was not the case here. However, Mb Ricambi provided documents proving it had ceased operations on plot No. 138, where the illegal structures were found. Moreover, the city itself had previously allowed the company to relocate its activities to other plots (Nos. 90 and 97), which also belong to Rome but were temporarily leased to the company. As a result, TAR ruled that the later revocation of permits based on previous urban planning violations was inconsistent with earlier administrative decisions that aimed to ensure the continuity of the company’s business operations. © AS Roma Rome’s urban planning department acknowledges that Mb Ricambi Auto has proven its withdrawal from plot No. 138. At the same time, officials emphasize that the ruling confirms the public nature of this land, resolving part of the ownership issue. The city authorities state that the company is still operating on municipal land and will be required to vacate the area as soon as the land is needed for stadium construction. Currently, no eviction is taking place, as the principle is to avoid removing businesses unless necessary to prevent economic harm. However, once construction begins, the company will be removed, just like residents occupying other plots. Advertisement

Italy Lecce Stadium Faces Old Italian Problems
StadiumDB com
Italy Lecce Stadium Faces Old Italian Problems20.02.2025 16:09 source: StadiumDB.com; author: Jakub Ducki In Lecce, there is an intense race against time to complete the modernisation of the stadium before the 2026 Mediterranean Games. However, ecological controversies and a lack of use of modern technologies have arisen in the planning stage. Advertisement On November 12, 2024, more than 40 environmental organisations and experts called for the implementation of environmentally friendly solutions. The key demand was to equip the stadium with a photovoltaic system, similar to what happened in Udine. There, the roof of the new sports facility will be covered with photovoltaic panels with a total area of over 4,000 square metres, which will make it self-sufficient in terms of energy and enable the sale of surplus electricity to the grid. According to Innocenzo Grazioso from the Forum Ambiente e Salute in Lecce, the decision not to use a similar solution at Stadio Ettore Giardiniero is a missed opportunity. The region, which prides itself on the slogan Salento mare sole e jentu (Salento - sea, sun and wind), should have used its natural resources to produce renewable energy. Instead, the city authorities are focusing mainly on photovoltaics in agriculture, ignoring the potential of the roofs of public buildings. It is not only the lack of solar panels that is causing concern among environmentalists. The organisations are also calling for the green areas around the stadium to be improved. Currently, most of the six-hectare area around the stadium is asphalt, which the activists believe could be used for planting trees and biodiversity. This would be particularly important in the context of the massive felling of olive trees in the region. In other Italian cities, such as Venice, there are plans to reforest the areas around new sports facilities. In the case of Lecce, this aspect has been completely overlooked. © ParisTaras (CC BY-SA 4.0) Another problem that has been pointed out by environmentalists is the lack of a coherent strategy between the various public institutions. Councillor Delli Noci announced that the Apulia region is preparing tenders to finance the energy autonomy of sports facilities, but the stadium in Lecce is not included in these plans. Activists have labelled this as another missed opportunity for modern and environmentally friendly solutions. Despite numerous oversights, the city authorities and the commissioner for the 2026 Mediterranean Games, Massimo Ferrarese, do not rule out the possibility that certain adjustments may be made at a later date. Roberto Giordano Anguilla, the deputy mayor of Lecce, suggests the possibility of adding a photovoltaic system on the adjacent land and in the car parks around the stadium. However, the tight schedule remains a problem, as it does not allow for these changes to be made at this stage of construction. © Vincenzo.togni (CC BY-SA 4.0) The stadium project is currently being carried out at an express pace. The contractor is Techproject in collaboration with Mjw Structures and Shesa. The project, which originally planned for 90 days of preparation, is now expected to be completed in just 60 days. The construction of the roof, which will be made of steel and PVC membrane, will begin in June or July 2025 and will take over a year. Importantly, the work will be carried out in stages while matches are still taking place at the stadium. This means that certain sections of the stands will be temporarily closed, which could reduce the number of available seats by 2,000 to 3,000. The internal renovation of the stadium will start in May 2025 and will be financed with public funds amounting to 11 million €. The renovation of the turf will start in May 2025. Advertisement

Not only is it beautiful, but it is above all functional. May it serve us for many more decades, said Tadeusz Truskolaski, Mayor of Białystok, during the event. The Municipal Stadium, currently known as Chorten Arena, was under construction for over 4 years and cost more than 250 million PLN. Over its 10-year history, the venue, which can accommodate 22,372 spectators, has hosted more than 4 million visitors for matches, fairs, and other events. According to the CEO of the Municipal Stadium company, Cezary Mielko, speaking through Polish Radio Białystok, around 5,000 events and about 25,000 training sessions have taken place there. Supporting your favorite team often involves numerous travels, including trips abroad. However, during these journeys, access to data is crucial, as some information may be unavailable while staying in a foreign country. I would like to thank the entire stadium community, including clubs, associations, the uniformed services, institutions, business partners, and my employees. Without all of you, we would not be where we are today, said Cezary Mielko. During the gala, Krzysztof Jemioło, the stadium’s greenkeeper, was also honored. He received the Honorary Badge of the Podlaskie Voivodeship from the Marshal of the region, Łukasz Prokorym. © Maciej Lulko Fotografia Architektury Responsible for the turf, Jemioło will have his hands full in 2025, as a complete replacement of the turf at Jagiellonia's stadium is scheduled for June. The cost of this investment is approximately 3 million PLN. However, this is not the only change planned for the facility. On January 9th, an intentional letter was signed at Chorten Arena for a project involving the creation of a Jagiellonia Białystok inscription on the eastern stand. We want the inscription ‘Białystok’ and ‘Jagiellonia’ to promote our club and our region across Poland and Europe, especially now that we are successfully playing and hopefully will continue playing in European cups, said Adam Tołoczko, President of the Children of Białystok association. The project will be submitted to the 2026 Citizens' Budget. However, the letter of intent is only the first step. After that, an application will need to be submitted for formal evaluation. If everything goes smoothly, a vote on its implementation will take place in the fall. According to calculations presented by the CEO of the Municipal Stadium company, the cost of the investment is approximately 300,000 PLN. © Stadiony.net Earlier, in April, Chorten Arena may host an exceptional match. According to Tomasz Włodarczyk from Meczyki.pl, on April 24th, Białystok will host the long-awaited Polish Super Cup match, where Jagiellonia will face Wisła Kraków. This date has not yet been officially confirmed by the Polish Football Association (PZPN), but it seems that there will be no issues with this. This match was initially scheduled for July 2024, but due to both teams playing in the European cup qualifiers, it has been moved to an indefinite date. Advertisement

France: Stadiums 30 Meters Apart - Paris Could Host The Closest Derby Ever

France: Stadiums 30 Meters Apart - Paris Could Host The Closest Derby Ever18.02.2025 15:44 source: StadiumDB.com; author: Paulina Skóra It's official – Paris FC (PFC) will play at the Jean Bouin Stadium next season, leaving Charléty behind. The PFC stadium will now be just a few meters away from the Parc des Princes, home of PSG. Advertisement Acquired by the Arnault family and the Red Bull group, Paris FC is aiming for promotion to Ligue 1 this season. One organizational issue has just been resolved: PFC will no longer play its matches at the Charléty. An agreement has been reached with Stade Français, allowing PFC to share the Jean Bouin, located just a few meters from the Parc des Princes. Football and rugby will continue to coexist at Jean Bouin, as the stadium will host both Paris FC and Stade Français next season. The Spanish newspaper AS predicts that PFC will develop rapidly, with the ultimate goal of competing with PSG in Ligue 1, despite Antoine Arnault’s fondness for the club led by Nasser Al-Khelaifi. To move between Paris FC's new stadium and the Parc des Princes, one only needs to cross the street (according to Google Maps, the two stadiums are just 30 meters apart!). This may be more than just a fun anecdote – it symbolizes the desire to challenge PSG head-on. According to AS, this new rivalry could significantly increase interest in the French league, which would help the competition grow, especially since French clubs are currently struggling with TV rights issues, and DAZN has been unable to attract enough subscribers. © kral_travel | Parisian stadiums are located 30 meters apart. Stade Français’ General Director, Thomas Lombard, commented on the agreement to share the Jean Bouin Stadium in an interview with Le Parisien: Is Paris FC paying €4 million in compensation? The exact amount remains confidential. PFC’s presence means a significant loss of revenue for us, which needed to be compensated. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, we have hosted around 200 events per year that generate income – now, we won’t have those. So, we analyzed the average revenue over the last 3-4 years to estimate the financial impact, said Lombard. The stadium will also need to be adapted for football matches. This includes designating a dedicated away fan section and meeting various security requirements. Another challenge to resolve before the next season is the pitch. Stade Français plays on synthetic turf, whereas Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 clubs use hybrid pitches. After Stade Français’ last home game against Castres on June 7, the surface will need to be replaced, with Paris FC covering the costs. And what about the stadium colors? The pink seats are just covers that can be easily changed – PFC can do whatever they want with them. The dominant color in the stadium is already navy blue, so not much will change. The interior is largely modular, and the LED screens only require a software update. PFC will introduce its visual identity and sponsors. We’re used to this; Jean Bouin also hosts PSG Women, FC Versailles, and the Musketeers. We rent the stadium as a ‘clean stadium,’ so it’s not an issue, Lombard added. © Leon Grosse | Stade Jean Bouin Another challenge will be the logistics of accommodating three clubs in the same area – PSG, PFC, and Stade Français. Discussions are ongoing with representatives from the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP), Ligue Nationale de Rugby (LNR), the police prefecture, and the clubs themselves to find the best logistical solution. PSG has specific security requirements, and authorities have stated that there must be several hours of separation between matches at the Parc des Princes and Jean Bouin. The most efficient solution would be to schedule Stade Français and PFC games on the same weekend at Jean Bouin, leaving PSG as the sole user of the area as often as possible. Advertisement

Algeria Bari Stadium Has Found Its Twin Brother... In Douera

Algeria Bari Stadium Has Found Its Twin Brother... In Douera17.02.2025 09:59 source: StadiumDB.com; author: Miguel Ciołóczyk Garcia Same look, similar capacity, similar solutions. The architects of the Stade Ali la Pointe seem to have drawn fully from the emblematic Stadio San Nicola in Bari. The twin brother of the Italian ‘spaceship’, however, has unique modern touches and its hosts hope for a better future than that of SSC Bari. Advertisement When work began on Stade Ali la Pointe, Stadio San Nicola’s glory years were, to put it lightly, long behind it. Nonetheless, the two venues have in common a large number of seats - 40,000 (Douera) and 57,000 (Bari) - and a rare layout: inclined stands without a facade, with empty spaces in which the entrances to the upper sectors are located. The home of second-tier SSC Bari owes the nickname spaceship to this configuration. And while the appearance may be surprising, it has to be appreciated for its uniqueness. You can appreciate it yourself in this year's Stadium of the Year edition if you decide to choose the Douera stadium for your favourite five of the 23 venues opening in 2024. Although it is not one of the favourites, it deserves attention not only because of its old-fashioned layout. An interesting design element is the glass building on the west side, which contrasts aesthetically with the austere concrete facade. The building bears the coat of arms of the host - the Mouloudia Club d'Alger - and the year it was founded: 1921. The club's colours are responsible for the appearance of the stands which shimmer in green (lower level) and red (upper level). A partially glazed roof protects the fans from the weather. However, it was not at all clear that the host of Stade Ali la Pointe would be MC d'Alger, the first Algerian team to win a continental competition (the 1978 African Champion Clubs' Cup). USM Alger and CR Belouizdad also wanted to play at the stadium, but a day after MC Alger's centenary celebrations in 2021, Algerian president Abdelmadjid Tebboune announced that the club had been chosen as the host. Before this could happen, construction encountered serious delays. Although it began as early as 2010, progress on the site came to a standstill after the initial work was completed. It was not until 2016 that construction resumed, which, with long delays, continued until 2024. President Tebboune named the facility after Ali la Pointe, a hero of the 1954-62 Algerian War of Independence. Advertisement

Usa: Plans Approved For Multi-Use Facility At Jordan-Hare Stadium17.02.2025 19:05 source: StadiumDB.com; author: Paulina Skóra The Auburn Board of Trustees has approved the architect and construction manager for the multi-use facility project in the north end zone of Jordan-Hare Stadium, as proposed by the athletics department and university administration. Advertisement HOK Architects of Kansas City, Missouri, has been selected as the project’s architect, while Robins & Morton of Birmingham, Alabama, will serve as the construction manager. CDFL Architects + Engineers and Workshop Architects will act as associate architects. We are grateful to the Board of Trustees for approving HOK Group, CDFL, and Workshop as project architects and Robins & Morton as the construction manager for the north end zone multi-use facility at Jordan-Hare Stadium, said Auburn Athletics Director John Cohen. This is another step in ensuring Jordan-Hare Stadium remains one of the premier facilities in college football. The Auburn Athletics Department and university administration proposed the construction of the multi-use facility in the north end zone of Jordan-Hare Stadium to enhance the overall Auburn fan experience through modern amenities. The new space will feature premium seating, concessions, stadium support facilities, as well as versatile conference event spaces, retail venues, student activity areas, meeting rooms, and future shell space for additional development. While awaiting investments in sports infrastructure, fans often look for other online activities, such as online games. Sweeptastic online casino offers great bonuses for new and existing users. © Richard Allgood Auburn students are the biggest supporters of Auburn Athletics, and this project reimagines an iconic venue by adding spaces that will benefit students year-round, said Bobby Woodard, Auburn Senior Vice President for Student Affairs. This facility provides an incredible opportunity to advance programs, services, and resources that make the Auburn student experience exceptional. At a prior meeting on September 6, 2024, the Board of Trustees granted initial approval for the multi-use facility project in the north end zone of Jordan-Hare Stadium. Robin and Reid Dove (’94) made a significant donation to support the project’s commencement, marking the largest single capital gift in Auburn Athletics history. Their children, Anna Reid (’21/’22) and Hal (’23/’24), are both Auburn graduates with bachelor’s and master’s degrees. I am deeply grateful to the Dove family for their generous contribution, said Auburn President Christopher B. Roberts. The Doves’ support plays a vital role in bringing this project to life. I look forward to seeing the new spaces at Jordan-Hare Stadium come alive—buzzing with student activity, vibrant retail spaces, and dynamic events that will energize our campus year-round. As design work begins in earnest, the Tigers Unlimited Foundation will simultaneously launch fundraising efforts to support this transformative project, modernizing Jordan-Hare Stadium and enhancing the fan experience for future generations of Auburn supporters.
