Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (MPUVNL) has awarded its 4.3 GW solar power auction conducted under Component C of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM KUSUM) scheme.
Of the total capacity offered, 4.01 GW has been awarded to 82 companies. Dilip Buildcon emerged as the largest bidder, securing 1,363.54 MW at a tariff of Rs 2.73 per kWh, followed by Sunbridge Solar Power with 471.29 MW at Rs 2.75 per kWh. Other key winners include Landsmill Industries with 422.02 MW at Rs 2.70 per kWh, Purshotam Profiles with 173.15 MW at Rs 2.69 per kWh and Ceigall India with 130 MW at Rs 2.85 per kWh while the remaining bidders together secured 1,459.25 MW. As per the tender guidelines, the scope of work includes design, engineering, construction, and commissioning of the solar projects, along with substation bay and switchgear works, and provision of operations and maintenance services for a period of 25 years.
