Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has taken another step towards strengthening urban transit infrastructure by awarding a detailed design consultancy contract to RDX Architects. The consultancy will focus on developing integrated property development components along with entry and exit structures at selected elevated metro stations under Corridor-5 of the ambitious Phase-2 expansion project.
The agreement highlights CMRL’s broader vision to transform metro stations into multifunctional urban spaces that combine transportation facilities with commercial and property development opportunities.
Stations Selected for the Project:
