Singapore’s Circle Line will be completed next month with the opening of three new stations, marking the end of a construction programme that has extended the line across the city-state’s rail network.

Circle Line Stage 6 will open for passenger service on 12 July 2026, following a public preview on 4 July. The three new stations — Keppel, Cantonment and Prince Edward Road — connect HarbourFront station to Marina Bay station, completing the full loop.

The finished Circle Line spans 39 kilometres across 33 stations, with 12 interchange stations providing connections to all existing MRT lines: the North-South and East-West Lines, the North East Line, the Downtown Line and the Thomson-East Coast Line. The completion will reduce travel times between the city’s western and eastern districts and the Central Business District. A commuter travelling from Telok Blangah to Marina Bay, for example, previously required two transfers; the journey can now be completed on a single train, saving around 10 minutes.

The three stations are designed to complement their surrounding areas. Keppel station, on Keppel Road, will serve the Greater Southern Waterfront development and nearby business hubs including PSA International and Keppel Distripark. Its vent shafts draw on the colours of the area’s iconic cable cars. Cantonment station sits below the historic Tanjong Pagar Railway Station and integrates elements of the national monument into its design. Prince Edward Road station, positioned in the Shenton Way area, references Singapore’s maritime heritage in its architecture.

All three stations feature barrier-free access, energy-efficient lighting and cooling systems, and bicycle parking facilities.
