Waymo has announced it has begun offering its autonomous ride hailing services at San Francisco International Airport.

The company has started by offering SFO access to a smaller number of riders, with services set to expand to welcome any and all travellers over the coming months.

Serving rides to and from San Francisco International Airport delivers one of the most requested features for our riders and further deepens our relationship with the city.

With millions travelling in for major events this year, we look forward to meeting the growing demand for reliable, fully autonomous rides. We are proud to offer a service that is improving road safety in San Francisco and providing a magical start or end to Bay Area journeys.

Initial pickups and dropoffs will take place at the SFO Renal Car Centre, which is accessible via AirTrain. Future plans are set to see services offered to additional locations within the airport, including terminals.
