Made possible by the support of the company’s new shareholders, Bourbon said the new vessels “illustrate the group’s ability to rapidly deploy assets that are aligned with the needs of offshore markets.”

Bourbon chief executive Gaël Bodénès  said, “In just a few months, we have expanded our fleet, secured significant investment and quickly returned vessels to service for our customers. This momentum toward profitability and growth is the result of the transformation we began in early 2025.”

Bourbon chief financial officer François Sordet said that, after what he described as after “these significant investments” and the completion of the company’s recent restructuring, Bourbon’s financial health “has been restored, with a clean balance sheet and reduced debt leverage below 1.5 x EBITDA 2025.” He said the revitalised company “continues to look for opportunities to sustain long-term growth.”

Bourbon has completed the acquisition of six diesel-electric vessels from the Minsheng Group. They include five PSVs and an 80-tonne bollard pull anchor-handling tug supply (AHTS) vessel.

The company has also acquired two large-capacity PSVs from ICBC, Bourbon Front and Bourbon Clear, vessels that are of the same design as the X-Bow vessel of the same series, Bourbon Calm, which is acquired in September 2025.

The company has also reactivated two 80-tonne diesel-electric AHTS vessels and, in February 2026 it took delivery of Bourbon Evolution 810, the latest newbuild vessel in the Evolution 800 series, a vessel designed for deepwater subsea operations and inspection, maintenance and repair work. Delivered to the company in Singapore, the vessel will start a long-term contract in South Asia in the second quarter of 2026.

Two 27-m crewboats delivered at the end of 2025 in Congo, started a five-year contract in February 2026.
