Aurionpro Bags Major Platform Screen Door Order For Mumbai Metro Line-5 From Titagarh Rail Systems

Aurionpro Solutions Limited has secured a significant multi-year order for the supply of Platform Screen Door systems for Mumbai Metro Line-5. Awarded by Titagarh Rail Systems Limited, the project marks Aurionpro’s entry into the safety-critical Platform Screen Door segment. This milestone further strengthens Aurionpro’s position within India’s rapidly expanding urban rail ecosystem.

Introduction:

Aurionpro Solutions Limited has taken a significant step forward in India’s urban mobility landscape by expanding its smart transit portfolio to include safety-critical Platform Screen Door (PSD) systems. The company has secured a major multi-year order from Titagarh Rail Systems Limited (TRSL) for the Mumbai Metro Rail Project’s Line 5, reinforcing its growing presence in the country’s rapidly expanding metro ecosystem.

This order marks Aurionpro’s formal entry into the Automatic Platform Screen Door market, a critical component of modern metro infrastructure designed to enhance passenger safety, operational efficiency, and station comfort.

Major Multi-Year Mumbai Metro Line-5 Engagement:

The engagement is among the largest multi-million-dollar projects within Aurionpro’s Smart Transit portfolio and will be executed in consortium with KTK Group Co. Limited (ASK). Under the agreement, Aurionpro will be responsible for the design, supply, commissioning, and long-term maintenance of the Platform Screen Door systems. The project leverages Aurionpro’s deep domain expertise as an original equipment manufacturer and solution delivery partner, further strengthening its end-to-end urban transit offerings.

Strengthening Presence in Mumbai Metro Network:

The Mumbai Metro Line 5 project represents Aurionpro’s first collaboration with Titagarh Rail Systems Limited. This partnership builds on Aurionpro’s existing association with Mumbai’s metro network, following earlier project wins for Metro Lines 4 and 4A awarded by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA).

With this latest engagement, Aurionpro continues to consolidate its role as a key technology provider supporting India’s largest metro rail network. The company’s expanding footprint in Mumbai reflects its ability to deliver scalable, integrated transit solutions aligned with global safety and performance standards.

Insight:

Shri Sanjay Bali, President, Tech Innovation Group, said: “We are grateful to Titagarh Rail Systems for placing their trust in Aurionpro Solutions. We are proud to contribute to India’s largest metro rail network in Mumbai. Driven by sustained investments in R&D, Aurionpro has built a strong portfolio of innovative offerings in the smart transit space, complemented by state-of-the-art manufacturing capabilities at our Ghaziabad facility under AuroToshi, our subsidiary aligned with the Make in India Initiative.

We are steadily positioning ourselves as a preferred partner in the urban transit and mobility infrastructure ecosystem, backed by strong capabilities and differentiated offerings. This partnership with Titagarh Rail Systems is particularly significant for us, given their leadership in railway infrastructure, and we see significant potential to jointly address larger market opportunities. I congratulate the entire team on securing this prestigious order, which also brings with it strong economic value.”

Expanding the Smart Transit Portfolio:

The addition of Platform Screen Door systems significantly enhances Aurionpro’s smart transit capabilities. PSDs are an essential safety and efficiency solution for metro rail, railway, and Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS) applications. They are especially critical in high-traffic, automated, and driverless metro networks, where controlled platform access improves passenger flow and reduces operational risks.

By entering this segment, Aurionpro has expanded its addressable market while reinforcing its position as an innovative, end-to-end transit solutions provider. The move aligns with the company’s long-term strategy of delivering integrated urban mobility platforms that combine technology, safety, and operational intelligence.

Conclusion:

Aurionpro’s entry into Platform Screen Door systems marks a milestone in its smart transit journey. With a major Mumbai Metro Line 5 order and a new partnership with Titagarh Rail Systems, the company continues to strengthen its role in delivering safe, scalable, and future-ready urban mobility solutions across India.
