Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), a key public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, has achieved a significant milestone by emerging as the Lowest Bidder (L1) for a prestigious contract awarded by South Eastern Railway. The project focuses on enhancing security infrastructure in Indian Railways through the deployment of modern video surveillance systems in passenger coaches.

The contract awarded to RVNL pertains to the supply, installation, and commissioning of IP-based Video Surveillance Systems (VSS) in Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) coaches. This initiative aligns with Indian Railways’ ongoing efforts to improve passenger safety, operational transparency, and real-time monitoring across its rolling stock.
