The filing clarified that the project is domestic in nature and does not amount to a related party transaction, and that neither the promoter nor promoter group companies have any interest in the awarding entity. The order was presented as complementary to the firmss ongoing contracts in the region and suitable for mobilisation from existing site teams. The company indicated that contractual safeguards and performance obligations will apply and that mobilisation will commence after formal award.

Brahmaputra Infrastructure operates in engineering, procurement and construction and in real estate development, delivering bridges, flyovers, highways, airports, buildings, tunnels and mining projects. The firm said the maintenance award aligned with its focus on road asset upkeep and would be handled by regional teams in the north east. The company described the contract as reinforcing its presence in the state.

On a consolidated basis the company reported that net profit rose 4,625 per cent to Rs 151.2 mn while net sales increased 212.01 per cent to Rs 919.8 mn in the quarter ended December 2025 compared with the year earlier period. The filing reiterated that the order will be completed within the contractual 12 month timeframe and that execution will follow customary regulatory clearances. The update was published on 15 May 2026 as part of the exchange disclosures.
