The bridge, built at a cost of around Rs 50 million, measures 150 metres long and one point five metre wide and features high-strength transparent glass panels that allow visitors to view the lake beneath. Engineers were conducting safety tests and installing final components to meet prescribed standards ahead of the inauguration. The design was presented as intended to provide a walk on air experience and to create a distinctive attraction for visitors from across the state.

The project was being executed under the supervision of the Backwards Classes Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, who had been reviewing progress and issuing directions to officials to expedite completion. Municipal commissioner T. Mallikarjun Goud reported that construction had entered its final and most crucial phase, with remaining works carried out at a brisk pace to ensure technical requirements were satisfied. They expressed optimism about completing pending installations and safety checks within the projected three-month timeline.

Broader beautification of the Yellamma Cheruvu precinct included a Bathukamma Ghat for cultural events, landscaped gardens, greenery and a walking track, modelled on Komati Cheruvu in Siddipet. Lighting systems and designated photo points were being installed to support visitor activity after sunset, and officials said these ancillary works would complement the glass bridge in positioning Husnabad as a recreational destination. Local authorities anticipated increased footfall and small business opportunities nearby.
