The agreement will see Curio deliver a comprehensive annual service and inspection programme at the Campion Hills site, reinforcing its position as a trusted specialist in ozone water treatment across the UK.

Under the contract, Curio will provide planned preventative maintenance of the Xylem ozone plant installation, including both an annual service visit and a six-monthly health check, with emergency telephone support and prioritised site response available throughout the agreement.

The scope includes enhanced asset auditing, with Curio providing detailed condition reports covering gas detectors, feed gas systems, cooling water, ozone generators and power supply units, destructors, and contact tank equipment — enabling Severn Trent to plan maintenance investment.

The contract demonstrates Curio's full service offering for ozone systems, which encompasses the supply and management of all parts and consumables, including gas detector service kits, compressed air dryer filters, ozone generator inlet filters, and residual analyser service kits.

Structured reporting forms a core part of the contract, with Curio issuing detailed maintenance records, health check lists, and asset condition summaries following each site visit — supporting Severn Trent's longer-term ozone strategy and AMP investment planning.

Howard Marles, Founder and CEO at Curio Group, said:

"This contract with Severn Trent is another step in our commitment to raising the standard of ozone asset care — and to ensuring that these systems continue to perform safely and reliably for the communities they serve. Ozone systems play a vital role in delivering clean water across the UK, and we believe the industry deserves a maintenance partner that truly understands the technology.”

Curio provided engineering support for Europe’s first micropollutant plant in Neugut, Switzerland, which has been operational since 2014. The company partnered with Severn Trent Water to deliver the UK’s first wastewater micropollutant removal plant at Frankton, Warwickshire, which came into operation in 2025.
