Emmvee, a leading manufacturer of high-quality solar photovoltaic panels and modules, has inaugurated a new manufacturing facility at Sulibele, near Bengaluru International Airport in Karnataka. The expansion adds 2.0 GWp of module capacity, bringing the company’s total capacity to approximately 6.6 GWp in PV modules and 2.5 GWp in solar cells.
DV Manjunatha, Chairman and Managing Director of Emmvee, said the new facility spans nearly 4 lakh square feet and will accommodate over 500 new employees, including engineering professionals, senior management, operations, and administrative staff.
With a current workforce of more than 2,000, the new additions will further strengthen Emmvee’s capabilities as it scales up to meet growing demand in the solar energy sector.
