The Magnum Ice Cream Company (TMICC) has inaugurated a new Research, Design and Innovation (RD&I) Centre in Bengaluru to accelerate consumer-led product and packaging innovation for its ice cream portfolio in India.

The facility, located in Whitefield, was opened on July 6 and has been established as a creative innovation hub focused on developing new products and packaging solutions across the company's brands, including Kwality Wall’s, Cornetto, Magnum, Carte D’Or, Feast and Twister.

According to the company, the centre's capabilities include product and process development, packaging innovation, consumer technical insights and regulatory assessment, enabling faster development of products tailored to evolving consumer preferences.

"The new Bengaluru ice cream centre will help us respond faster to evolving consumer preferences and create products that are relevant to Indian tastes and occasions," said Chitrank Goel, Deputy Managing Director, Kwality Wall’s (India) Ltd.
