waterYardney Water Filtration Systems has announced that the US Patent and Trademark Office has granted the company a new patent for its valve with stepped bushing design, further strengthening its intellectual property portfolio and reinforcing its commitment to advancing water filtration technology.
The newly issued US patent number 12,352,370 B2 covers a valve design featuring a specialised bushing that applies controlled axial pressure to the seals, allowing for easier assembly and disassembly while helping to protect the seals from damage. The design is intended to simplify maintenance and improve long-term operational reliability.
Chris Phillips, president of Yardney Water Filtration Systems, said the patent highlights the company’s continued investment in developing practical, high-performance filtration solutions.
