What is a Stadium Project
Stadium Project means the design, construction and financing of the Stadium, Stadium Site, Authority Parking Areas, and Public Infrastructure for the Stadium Site. Stadium is a place or venue for (mostly) outdoor sports, concerts, or other events and con- sists of a field or stage completely surrounded by a tiered structure designed to allow spectators to stand or sit and view the event.
Different Types of Stadium Construction
Outdoor Stadiums
They are designed for sporting events and other outdoor activities. They typically have open-air seating and are built to accommodate large crowds.
Indoor Stadiums
known as arenas or domes are enclosed structures designed for hosting events that require a controlled environment. They provide shelter from weather conditions, equipped with artificial lighting and climate control systems.
Multi-Purpose Stadium
They are designed to host a variety of events including sports, concerts and exhibitions. These stadiums are versatile and can adapt to different requirements by utilizing movable seating and retractable roofs.
Stadium Global Projects
Burnham Park Stadium, Chicago, Illinois, USA This new stadium comes at a hefty price. Estimated around $4.7 billion to build this new sta- dium on the lakefront. The stadium would feature a new fixed roof and would be called Burn- ham Park. Alongside the stadium would be 14 acres of athletic fields and a recreational park for the public. In addition to hosting sporting events, the stadium would also serve as a con- cert venue. The first phase to open the stadium includes transportation, roadways, and utili- ties, and would cost an estimated $325 million. The second phase would give the stadium a surrounding campus and include parks, playfields, and bus stations costing $510. The third phase would include public attractions including retail shops and additional transportation.
Hassan II Stadium, Benslimane, Morocco The stadium will be used mostly for football matches and will serve as the home of the Morocco national football team. The stadium is planned to have a capacity of 115,000 spectators, making it the largest football stadium in the world costing $520 millions.
